Major League Baseball season is officially underway.
Los Angeles Dodgers beat Chicago Cubs 4-1 Tuesday morning in the Tokyo Dome in Japan, with the game released on Fox Sports.
Yoshinobu Yamamoto started for Dodgers, while Shota Imanaga got nodded to Cubs, which made it the first time there was an All-Japanese starter pitching matchup on opening day in MLB history.

Yamamoto was solid over five laps of work, knocked out three men and gave up only one race.
Cubs’ Lone Run came in the second half when Catcher Miguel Amaya hit a two-out double scoring Dansby Swanson.
Imanaga beat four hitless laps to the kids, went four fighters and knocked out two before turning the ball over the bullp.
Dodgers took the lead too well in the fifth lap when Imanaga was drawn for the day.
Andy pages went, and then shohei Ohtani triggered the rally with Dodgers’ first hit of the game out of Ben Brown, a single pulled down the right field.

Ohtanis Single set up runners on first and thirds for Tommy Edman with one out.
Edman came through when he hit a looping line drive into the left field that fell in front of left Fielder Ian Happ and scored sides.
Ohtani was only able to move on to the second base, which happily strangled the ball and fired it quickly into the Infield.
Despite abandoning a race, Brown was almost out of lap. Reliever induced a double play -earth ball to the third base when he caught Teoscar Hernandez, who reached an external pitch.
Cub’s third Baseman Matt Shaw fired to the second Baseman Jon Berti for one out on the second base, but Berti aired thrown to the first base, unable to finish the input ending double game.

Ohtani scored on Berti’s wrong throws and the lap was kept alive.
Dodger’s capitalized on Berti’s throwing error when Catcher Will Smith scooped a line drive to the left field scoring Hernadez to make the game 3-1.
When Dodgers took the lead in the fifth round, they shut down the kids.
Yamamoto, Anthony Banda, Ben Casparius and Blake Treinen combined to retire 16 fighters in a row from the third to eighth laps. The line ended when the trine hit Berti with a pitch with one out in the eighth.
Dodgers added an insurance driving in the ninth lap. Ohtani led into inning with a double and later scored his second race of the game on Hernandez’s single to make the game 4-1.
Tanner Scott debuted in Dodgers after signing with the club in free agency in the ninth lap and recorded the rescue.

The second and final game in the Tokyo series will take place on Wednesday.
The Japanese Rookie Roki Sasaki will make his MLB debut for Dodgers, while left-handed Justin Steele takes the haug for Cubs on Wednesday morning, with the first pitch that comes at 1 p.m. 06:10 one at Fox.
The rest of MLB has their opening day on March 27, when Cubs and Dodgers’ regular seasons started early with their participation in the Tokyo series.
