Pakistan condemns Israel’s deadly air striker at Gaza

Pakistan strongly condemned Israel’s recent deadly air strikes in Gaza, resulting in the death of over 400 innocent Palestinians, mostly women and children. The air strikes have crushed weeks with relative tranquility after stopped ceasefire.

Foreign Office (FO) condemned air strikes and described it as a “terrible aggression” in the holy month of Ramadan. FO emphasized that this was an obvious violation of the ceasefire agreement that could destabilize the entire region.

FO urged the international community to intervene and end the violence and call for the resumption of diplomatic efforts for an immediate and lasting peace in Gaza and the Middle East.

According to witnesses, the air strikes targeted home and tent match over Gaza, from the northern to the southern regions. Israeli thought also accused Gaza from all over the border. Gaza’s Ministry of Health confirmed the toll and stated that 404 people were killed, marking one of the highest one-day death tolls since the war began.

The ceasefire between Israel and Hamas had held since January and delivered much needed respite for the 2 million inhabitants of Gaza. However, both Israel and Hamas accused each other of violating the ceasefire and escalating for further violence.
