PM Jets for KSA on 4-day visit today

Islamabad:

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will take on an official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) from March 19-22, aiming to strengthen bilateral ties, improve economic cooperation and promote investment between the two countries.

The delegation, which accompanies the Prime Minister, will include Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar, important federal ministers and senior officials, a foreign office spokesman said in a statement on Tuesday.

During the visit, the prime minister is scheduled to meet Saudi crown prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman.

Leaders will discuss and aware of ways to increase trade, improve the partnership in key sectors and facilitate greater financial cooperation.

“Questions of mutual interest and concern, including global and regional development, especially the GAZA situation, the developing Middle East -dynamics, as well as questions related to the Muslim Ummah will count high on the agenda,” it was added.

The Prime Minister’s visit emphasizes the deeply rooted historical relations between Pakistan and KSA and will pave the way for increased mutual understanding, improved cooperation in trade, investment and greater diplomatic coordination of bilateral, regional and global affairs.
