IHC forms bench on imran -visit rights

In a significant development, Islamabad High Court (IHC) has put together a larger bench to hear various pleas filed with regard to PTI founder Imran Khan’s right to meet his family members and party leaders at Rawalpindis Adiala Prison, where the former prime minister is jailed.

The bench to be led by IHC functioning Chief Justice Muhammad Sarfraz Dogar will include Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir and Justice Muhammad Azam Khan. The larger bench will hear more than 20 pleas.

The development came when IHC -functioning boss heard a petition filed by Adiala Prison Superintendent Abdul Ghafoor Anjum, who complained to several affairs regarding Imran Khan’s visiting rights and conflicting judgments from the courts on the said question.
