Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, accompanied by a high-level delegation, has traveled to an official visit to Saudi Arabia.

According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s office, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will be on an official visit to Saudi Arabia from 19 to 22 March, 2025.

The primary goal of the visit is to strengthen bilateral ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, improve economic cooperation and promote investments between the two nations.

The delegation, which accompanies the Prime Minister, includes Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar together with the most important federal ministers and senior officials.

During the visit, the prime minister is also expected to meet with Saudi crown prince and prime minister his Royal Highness Mohammed bin Salman al Saud.

The meeting will focus on improving trade, expanding partnerships in key sectors and exploring ways to facilitate wider financial cooperation.

Discussions between the two leaders are likely to include questions of mutual interest, including global and regional development, especially the situation in Gaza and the Middle East, as well as questions about the Muslim Ummah.
