Hasan Nawaz declared ‘deliberate tax faulter’

Hasan Nawaz, son of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, has been declared a “deliberate tax fauler” in the UK and fined £ 5.2 million.

The British government has updated its list of tax distributors on its website, which now includes Hasan’s name.

According to the site, Hasan could not pay approx. £ 9.4 million in taxes between April 5, 2015 and April 6, 2016. The British tax authority imposed a penalty of 5.2 million pounds on him. Hasan has been declared a deliberate tax fauler.

It appeared late last year that Hasan had been declared bankrupt by London High Court in a tax and liability case about the British government’s tax and income department.

The official UK Gazette, holding the public record, had published details of the bankruptcy. It stated that Hasan, resident of Flat 17 Avenfield House, 118 Park Lane, and the Company Director had been declared bankrupt in the High Court of Justice in the event of No. 694 of 2023; Filed on August 25, 2023. The bankruptcy order was issued on April 29, 2024, on a case brought by the creditors over non -payment.

The civil case was initiated by the Majesty’s Income and Customs (HMRC) department against Hasan, represented by Kaur Maxwell.
