Los Angeles Dodgers took warm on Tuesday after the club announced it would visit President Donald Trump in the White House to celebrate their 2024 World Series title.
Dodgers Manager Dave Roberts called it a “great honor” to be able to go to the White House.

“It was not a formal conversation that we had as a ball club,” he said via ESPN. “It’s definitely a huge honor to get the invitation to the White House. It allows us to celebrate our championship in 2024. To my understanding, every world champion gets that honor, so it’s a great honor for all of us.”
In 2019, Roberts suggested to the Los Angeles Times that he would skip a visit to the White House after Trump criticized Roberts during the 2018 World Series for making a pitching change.
Whatever changed, the MLB fans criticized the team.

Other fans were annoyed by the decision because a web page honored Jackie Robinson was removed from a defense defense site dedicated to athletes earning in the military last week.
A defense employee told Outkick that the site was deleted due to human error in the course of complying with a DEI period.

Dodgers said they would get their visit to the White House on April 7 as the team is in town to take on Washington Nationals. The team added that players will visit Capitol Hill the next day.
“In accordance with prolonged baseball tradition, President Trump has invited the world champion in 2024 Los Angeles Dodgers to the White House as they play in Washington DC on April 7,” the team said. “Dodgers look forward to visiting the White House and celebrating our title.
“In addition, members of Dodgers will visit Capitol Hill on April 8.”
Dodgers’ season has already started with their sweeping of Chicago Cubs abroad.
