Hyderabad:
A running youth was surely traced and reunited with his family by police in Hyderabad. Joli Shankar had, according to police, ran away a few days ago after a match with his brother Venus Shankar and his wife, whom she lived in the Latifabad No4 area.
Venus, who was destroyed by the child’s folly, said he was looking for high and low and eventually filed a missing report on the Hussainabad police station. Hussainabad police under the supervision of DSP Abdul Khaliq Jathiyal began searching for the girl.
Police used their informants in drug dates and beggar gangs in addition to intelligence sharing from agencies to track the child. She was finally tracked in the nearby Kotri city. However, police refrained from sharing where she lived in Kotri.
Joli told police that she had left home because of a fight with her brother and Bhabhi. Police officers called Venus and his wife to the district and asked them to solve the problems. If the child had refused to go with her guardians, she could have been handed over to the childcare department. After some cries and sob, however, there were hugs and tears.
After reconciliation, Sho Hussainabad handed Faiz Ali Shah the baby to his brother with his consent.
Venus Shankar thanked SSP Hyderabad Adeel Hussain Chandio, Sho Hussainabad Faiz Ali Shah and their entire team to safely recover Joli and expressed full confidence in police.
