However, this card is stupidly expensive at 85% above MSRP, so rather than improved supply this is probably more a reflection of the requested price
That said, there is some hope that the RTX 5080 supply actually improves a little so we can keep our fingers crossed there

An ASUS version of the NVIDIA RTX 5090 GPU has been spotted stacked high on the shelves of a larger American retailer, which may make you believe that the stock of the stock for the flagship is over – but I doubt that is the case.

Nevertheless, it is a news to see such a Stack Blackwell graphics card on the shelves, and there are also some more positive tips on the RTX 5080 storage -which I will come back to later. Everything comes with the permission of a Reddit post that shared a photo of a micro-microcentrum in Dallas (see below), which Videocardz marked up.

Of course, this is probably not a case of supply that suddenly spikes or Nvidia’s production lines turning up to the Blackwell flagship -rather it is (certainly) a lack of demand due to the extensive price tag attached to the ASUS RTX 5090 board.

This is the ASUS ROG Astral LC RTX 5090 OC Edition, which is admittedly the top offer from the graphics card manufacturer-LC refers to fluid cooling, and OC indicates that it is overdue-but the price is still astronomical (or Astral-nomic, perhaps, Ahem) to $ 3,719.

It is 85% more expensive than the (high) MSRP set by Nvidia, and it is even almost 10% more expensive than the requested price set by Asus in its own online store for this particular ROG Astral model – and it is already scandalously high as it is.

Yes, it is a top-end-user-defined board, and yes, there will always be a prize to pay in this case, for the improvements of the card and cooling that (hopefully) helps you get a meaningful better over-clock-but difference will not be so much versus an entry-level RTX 5090, with probability.

And to be forced to pay almost double for it? Even PC game enthusiasts won’t do it, which is (without a doubt) why all these RTX 5090 models sit on the shelves -and will probably remain it for some time until the Micro Center adjusts its pricing.

Of course, this will eventually happen when the rhetx 5000 graphics card’s clamp begins to relax, and demand does not outweigh the supply of such a huge factor.

Analysis: A glimpse of hope – but not for RTX 5090

Okay, then there’s any chance at all That the sudden appearance of a decent number of these flagship Blackwell graphics card is a hopeful indication of the improvement of the stock level? After all, it was joined to happen to the RTX 5090 at the end of March, where we are now. I don’t see it, honestly, whatever might be in the microcenter store, if we look at the big online dealers in the United States, the RTX 5090 share remains non-existent. For the moment, the flagship GPU can only be available in local stores.

However, the Reddit poster also notes that there are RTX 5080 GPUs in plenty of stock on that microcenter – even if we do not see them or what price they are for. However, I guess there will be no boards at MSRP level, but there is a glimpse of hope here that at the time of writing there are a few RTX 5080 models in stock to order online at Newegg.

Predictable are they nowhere near MSRP, so this is not a reason for a real party yet – the cheapest model (of three available boards at the moment) is $ 1,360, which is MSI Ventus 3x RTX 5080. It is still 36% over MSRP at $ 999, of course, but nevertheless, even seeing some stock in all

I wouldn’t be led away with this view, but maybe we’re starting to turn a (light) corner here -although clearly not with the RTX 5090 share, with a really ridiculous price inflation that still much blows the Blackwell flagship.
