Kotri:
Two suspects involved in a case of abuse and video recording of two minor sisters have been arrested by police.
Zakir Ali Yousufzai had brought a case at Kotri Police Station, claiming his sisters, 11-year-old Alishah and 10-year-old Alina, were raped by their neighbor, Sultan Pathan, who also recorded a video of the incident.
Jamshoro SSP held a press conference in his office to announce the arrest of the suspect and provide details of the investigation. He said the biggest suspect, Sultan Pathan, was arrested after an investigation into the case.
The SSP also revealed the arrest of Site Police Station Sho Mazhar Naich and Telegraph Police Post, Yaseen Laghari, for their role in facilitating the suspected release. The suspect was allegedly released after the bribery of RS300,000 was paid.
Further investigation revealed that a private TV channel reporter, Muqaddar Baloch, was also involved in the case and will soon be arrested. SSP expressed disappointment with the negligence of the police officers in duty and their commitment to taking bribes in the case.
SSP Jamshoro has appointed Zahid Chhatial as the new SHO for Site Police Station.
