Karachi experienced an unexpected foggy spell in different areas late at night, including Saddar, II Chundrigar Road and the old urban area.
The fog hanging through the night, but spread with the morning sunlight.
Meteorological analysts attribute the phenomenon to high humidity levels and stagnant winds, causing reduced visibility early in the morning.
The fog was particularly close near the airport, where visibility was reduced to approx. 2.5 to 3 kilometers. As the sun rose, the fog was cleared and visibility improved.
