Los Angeles Dodgers warmed up under the World Series and has not yet cooled.
Dodgers improved to 8-0 Wednesday night as Shohei Ohtani hit a walk-off home drive to lift the team to a 6-5 win over Atlanta Braves. Dodgers are in the process of the best start ever of a defending world champion.

“Overall, not just tonight, there is a really good atmosphere in the team,” Ohtani said through a translator after the game. “So I just think it allows us to return in these games to win.”
Ohtanis 399-foot shot sent Dodger’s faithful into a madness. The reigning National League MVP is 10-for-30 to start the season with three homes and three RBI. He fights .333 with a 1,126 ops.
“He continues to enter these situations and moments where you expect the imaginable out of him and he rarely disappoints. It really says anything,” said Dodger’s third Baseman Max Muncy.

Brave’s second Baseman Ozzie Albies was 2-for-5 with a double, an RBI and a race scored. Shortstop Nick Allen was also 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI.
Dodgers -starter Blake Snell lasted all four laps. He allowed five races on five hits, but was not charged with a deserved race. Braves Starter Bryce Elder also went four laps, allowing three races on three hits. He struck out three blows.

Braves fell to 0-7 to start the season. Five of their seven losses came with three races or fewer.
