The offer is available from March 31 to 31 May 2025 and gives you two months of chatgpt plus when you have claimed it.
You must be a student in the US and Canada with Openai explaining that it will verify your status immediately using the following methods:
- Authoritative sources: Sheerid first checks trusted databases, such as your University’s Office of the Justice Secretary, to instantly verify your student’s status.
- Single Sign-On (SSO): If necessary, you will be prompted to log in safely with your school’s SSO credentials and confirm your attachment directly through your institution.
It adds that if these methods do not work, you may need to undergo a manual review that requires you to upload “additional documentation.” Openai does not outline what these documents are, but we expect it to be something like a record letter or student ID card from your college.
Openai also explains that not all schools will be supported, although it gives a form for you to request to add your school. It does not promise top Accept all requests, but it is worth trying if you are desperate after demanding this $ 40 savings.
