Canon EOS R7 Mark II is jerked for 2025 with these significant upgrades – watch out for fujifilm

  • Rumors suggest EOS R7 Mark II should be in Q3 or Q4 this year
  • Sources show that Mark II could have a 40MP APS-C sensor
  • No official message from Canon

The Canon EOS R7 was the company’s first flagship mirror-free model built around an APS-C sensor. Launched in 2022 we gave great praise in our in-depth review and it is still a fantastic hybrid camera today. But with fierce competition in the middle -class market, it is quickly approaching the time for Canon to introduce another edition of R7.

If online chatter appears exactly, that’s exactly what could arrive later in the year. We are still a bit away from a particular launch date, but Canon rumors – a reliable source of industrial information – have published a story that claims it expects EOS R7 Mark II to hit shelves in 3rd quarter or Q4 in 2025. It also suggests the model will go “Upmarket”.

Canon rumors did not share further details about what we can expect to look at the spec sheet for the EOS R7 Mark II, and the manufacturer itself is still tight. But a quick look at the shortcomings of the original R7 should offer a few clues. It can also give Fujifilm something to worry about: an upgraded EOS R7 Mark II could surpass the X-T5-the best Fujifilm camera you can buy right now.
