But on his pro -day, Sanders’ throwing mechanics triggered a debate. Sanders was seen clapping the ball before throwing it. Former NFL -Quarterback Kyle Sloter thought it could be a “problem” for the former Colorado Buffaloes star in the future.
“I personally think that shedur Sanders has a chance to be a good QB in the NFL, but boy is that Ball Patting becomes a problem,” he wrote on X. “Patching the ball is very common and not a problem when it has to initiate your caste movement but shedur brings the ball to his free hand to clap it?

“Boy better stops clapping the ball we break onnat earlyyyy,” he wrote on X.
New York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton had another roof.
“I promise he can clap the ball and be nice if DBs were so good at breaking on ball pats that they all had 8+ choices a year,” Slayton wrote on social media. “Same guys falling for a 2 -man -dolk -concept and giving up graves on 3rd and long each season all season long talking about a ball claps what a joke.”
