Trump proclaims Dodgers’ Shohei Ohtani’s results

President Donald Trump proclaimed Shohei Ohtani’s results when he welcomed Los Angeles Dodgers to the White House on Monday to celebrate their 2024 title.

Trump talked a lot about the Japanese Dodgers star who put himself in his own club during the 2024 season. He became the first dough in the MLB story that hit at least 50 home runs and steals at least 50 bases. The president turned to shake Ohtani’s hand and seemed to be stunned.

“He looks like a movie star,” Trump said. “He has a good future, I tell you.”

Ohtani had 54 home runs, 59 stolen bases, fought .390 and drove in 130 RBI in 159 games for Dodgers. He was awarded the National League MVP for his efforts. It was his first season with Los Angeles after signing a massive 10-year contract of $ 700 million with the team in the previous season.

Trump mentioned that Ohtani got the 50-50 moment in a game he went 6-for-6 inches. He said some called it “the biggest game ever.” He had three homers and 10 RBI in the game.

“Is he good,” asked Trump Jokle -like manager Davie Roberts, who replied, “he will only get better.”

“And he gets better. It’s scary to many people,” Trump said.

Later, Ohtani took a photo of Trump in the Oval Office and made next to the Declaration of Independence.

Ohtani helped Dodgers to a National League West Division title, and he kept his hot in the post season. He had three homemade between the National League Division series and the National League Championship Series.

He cooled under the World Series, but the team still managed to defeat New York Yankees in five matches. It was Dodgers’ second title since 2020.
