Hulu is back after being down for many – here is all we know

Refresh

Given that this was a small power outage, we have to give it to the team at Hulu to resolve it quickly. Unlike some other recent power cuts, @Hulusupport account was also responsive to frustrated users.

In case you wonder, reboot and log-in method actually worked on my iPhone, so if you still have trouble using Hulu, it would be our recommendation.

Hulu says ‘login is resolved’

Now via a post on X (formerly Twitter), @Hulusupport says the problems have been resolved, writes:

“Thank you for your patience. The login problem from the past has been resolved. If you are still running into trouble at your end, reboot and try again.”

This means that if you are still encountering problems online via a mobile app – iOS or Android -, a smart TV or even a streaming box, reboot may be the way to streaming again.

I still see the mistake of my iPhone so I’ll try a reboot right now.

Reports about DownDetector also begin to fall. From 1 p.m. 10:52 they sit around 1,100.

Still, @Hulusupport is still responding to users and says the streaming service’s team is working on a solution for login problems and the general instability of the platform right now.

Well, this can be a quick

It looks like Hulu may get a quick recovery, which is a good thing! I am now able to log back on my iPad and access live TV and on-demand content from the streaming service.

My colleague Lance Ulanoff, who previously couldn’t even enter an E email address to log in to Hulu, has at least passed that step.

On my iPhone, however, I still receive a “mistake of playing video” with a “error code”, the “local error time” and a “unique error -id.”

Here is the official statement that @Hulusupport has sent to X (formerly Twitter):

This confirms a problem with logging, but the Techradar team as well as other users who have posted on social media also have problems when they are already logged in or are forced to log in after they are signed.

Hulu confirms that there is a problem

While Hulu does not appear to have a status page, the streaming service confirms a problem and tells frustrated streamers that its help is on the way. Via @Hulusupport -Trap on X (formerly Twitter), it is confirmed that there is a problem with a few users who have tweeted asking what is going on.

@Hulusupport writes to a user, “We hear you! Our developers are on the matter and work to solve this while we’re talking. We value your patience!”

And in another, it offers more reassurance, but stops saying what exactly causes the problems. It seems that many users report that it is reported automatically and is unable to sign back-in or see basic web pages with a 503 error.

A large cave razing

From 1 p.m. 10:40 one has down Detector spill for over 13,000 reported power cuts for Hulu, with comments spelling questions that see the content-one on-demand or through live TV and I can’t make it work on an iPhone or an iPad.

Keep with us that we see how long Hulu has problems for!
