Karachi: Pakistani Fast Bowler Mohammad Hasnain said he’s aimed at strong performance in the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) to get a recall to the national Company for this year’s Asia Cup.
In an interview to Pakinomist NewsThe 25-year-old Quick, who plays for Multan Sultans in the franchise tournament, emphasized the league’s role as a starting pad for new talent while talking on the sidelines for his team’s training in Karachi ahead of the 10th PSL edition from April 11.
“My goal is simple – appear as good as I can in PSL and make my case a choice of Asia Cup,” said Hasnain, his eyes got a potential return to international cricket after being in and out of the Pakistan side since his debut in 2019.
The right arm speedster capable of bowling at 140+ km / h emphasized that he was not targeting specific fighters, but rather focused on uniform notions to help Multan Sultans regain the title they last won in 2021.
Hasnain said the team had completed an intensive four-day camp in Multan before switching base to Karachi, where they fine-tune strategies.
“The preparations have been thorough – we have a balanced team, and I am convinced that we can deliver strong results,” he said, adjusting his team cap under Karachi Sun.
Bowler, who previously played for Quetta Gladiators, highlighted PSL’s importance by saying, “For young players it’s a gateway to international cricket – that’s the proof of that. For experienced players it’s a chance to scene comebacks”.
Recognizing Pakistan’s passionate cricket after, Hasnain said, “When the team underprests, it hurts the fans. But Karachi’s crowds are special – they have lifted us in crucial matches before”.
He remembered to play in front of packed stands during previous PSL campaigns and noticed how local support often proves to be crucial in tight games.
