Google Cloud has revealed a new overall security platform designed to take the stress out of keeping your business safely against the latest threats.
The company has revealed Google Unified Security, lovingly known as GUS, on its Google Cloud Next 25 event in Las Vegas, which promises a big step forward in threat detection and mitigation.
Not surprisingly, Google Unified Security will be equipped with the company’s latest AI tools and services to maximize the available customers.
Google Unified Security
The launch of Google Unified Security is coming as companies across the globe face what the company calls a “new era with certainty and privacy”.
The company says that as a business grows, its infrastructure becomes inevitably more complicated, expanding the possible attacking surface and increasing the need for a total security platform as separate and disconnected security tools can leave data fragmented, and opening up to Attack.
Customers will be able to use Google Unified Security to access a single interface to all their data and offer improvement of visibility, detection and response features.
The company promises that the latest Google threat information results will be made available to users, and Gemini will of course also be present to offer advice and guidance.
Users will be able to access telemetry and other Data from Chrome Enterprise to ensure that they remain secure against possible threats that can be monitored from the Security Command Center.
Employees can also benefit from new phishing protection in Chrome Enterprise Premium, where employers are able to add their own branding and business assets to increase identification.
Google’s security operation platform also gets a boost thanks to new DataPeline Management capabilities, helps users control scale and reduce costs, while the new Mandiant Threat Defense Service provides in-depth detection and response capabilities for all the latest threats.
Google Unified Security is rolling out now.
