Qureshi promises to lead anti-channels protest from prison

Senior Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI)-Leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi criticized his own party’s leadership over disorder in their ranks and said that these party leaders were jailed when they saw the management outside pointing fingers at each other.

Talking to the media persons after hearing about a case in connection with May 9, 2023 Violence said that none of the exterior management was done compared to what he did from inside the prison. He said he would lead a protest against the Indus channels in Umerkot on April 14 and 15 from the inside prison.

On Tuesday, Qureshi had called on the party leadership to focus on meaningful acts for those who are imprisoned, rather than being distracted by internal mudling and guilt games. He repeated his statement on Wednesday and said those who had been in prison looked at PTI’s leadership outside the prison.

“I personally appeal them to maintain unity among them and show decency as I differ with each other. They are injured in prison when they see them and point fingers at each other,” he said.

In his media lecture, Qureshi Pakistan accused Peoples Party (PPP) of “betraying the population of Sindh” on the Canals question. “PPP’s tears notice, but crocodile tears. It preferred to hold mother when IRSA [Indus River System Authority] issued a certificate of water availability, ”he accused.

Previously, Qureshi appeared in ATC in six cases related to May 9 violence. The court postponed the case for his guarantee application after occasion until Thursday (today).
