World Liberty says it has not sold any ether, rejecting Arkham -Data

The World Liberty Financial, the Defi project, supported by US President Donald Trump’s family, has denied reports that it sold Ether (ETH) earlier this week.

It was reported on Wednesday that a wallet closely linked to World Liberty Financial, labeled by blockchain data company Arkham as a potentially belonging to the project, sold $ 8 million ether after surpassing $ 125 million in unrealized losses.

In a statement to Coindesk, a World Liberty Financial spokesman said: “The claims that World Liberty Financial has sold any of its stocks are completely inaccurate. WLFI has not sold any positions currently reported. Speculations to the opposite are fake.”

Ether has since the reboar of this sale for $ 1,465, currently shopping for $ 1,553 after the crypto markets experience a minor relief period Wednesday.

Donald Trump’s son, Eric, said it was a “good time to buy” ETH in February when it traded for $ 2,880.

Arkham did not respond to Coindesk’s request for comment.
