Pakistan’s government, in collaboration with The Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (UP), hosts the first ever overseas Pakistanis Convention in Islamabad from April 13 to 15.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis, the goal of the Convention is to welcome overseas Pakistanis at home, listen to their concerns and incorporate their valuable proposals for improved decision -making, reported Express News.
The government has decided that all overseas Pakistanis participating in the Convention will be awarded the status of state guests.
Special events, including welcome banners and reception protocols, are made at airports for their arrival.
Participants will be received with full awards and respect, and public parties will also be held in their honor.
Under special instructions by the Prime Minister, these events reflect the government’s obligation to make overseas Pakistanis feel that Pakistan is really their home.
The Convention aims to provide a shared platform where overseas Pakistanis, government officials and national institutions can engage under one roof.
To facilitate this, various government departments create auxiliary cords on the room to provide information, guidance and services in a place.
This initiative reflects the seriousness of the Pakistan government to tackle the concerns of overseas Pakistanis and offer timely solutions.
The Convention will also invite the overseas society to actively contribute to Pakistan’s developmental journey and explore improvements in existing services and policies for posted.
Islamabad needs ‘Expo Center in World Class’
Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has said Islamabad should have a world-class EXPO center where international dealers could exhibit their products better, according to a report on state-controlled PTV world.
When he spoke at the initial session in the Gujranwala Expo in Islambad, the finance minister said that steps are underway for financial stability and the government is obliged to promote export -based economic growth.
Muhammad Aurangzeb said the economy will only get stronger by promoting exports.
He said Expo gave a lot of encouragement that Pakistan has such products that are internationally competitive and could become a global brand as we move on.
