Ripperger called 136 seats on Thursday. According to Umpire Scorecards measurements, he called each pitch exactly.

Kansas City pulled Minnesota with a race on Thursday before gathering in the seventh lap. Royals starter Michael Wacha beat 5.1 laps and gave up two earned races. He also knocked out four blows.

Royals’ 2-3 win over the twins on Thursday was followed by a 7-0 loss to Guardians on Friday.
Previously MLB -umpire Pat Hoberg gets credit with the only other perfect game that Umpire Scorecards have registered. Hoberg achieved this bang in Game 2 in the 2023 World Series.
