Aimee Lou Wood shouted the latest Saturday Night Live Sketch, where Sarah Sherman makes an impression of her character in The white lotus.
Now the show has broken the silence on the subject.
On her Instagram stories, the British actress shared an update that she received “excuses from SNL.”
“I’ve had an apology from SNL,” said the actress, who plays Chelsea in the Hit -Hbo show.
Earlier, the 31-year-old hit the NBC show and said, “I found the SNL-tinging remedy and unlucky. Such a shame because I had such a great time to see it a few weeks ago.”
She continued, “Yes, take the piss for sure – that’s what the show is about – but there must be a wiser, more nuanced, less cheap way?”
“On a positive note everyone agrees with me about it, so I’m glad I said something instead of going into myself,” Aimee concluded before adding a few messages from his fans on the sketch.
