DOGE SUBPORTUNITY CEO Marjorie Taylor Greene announced on Tuesday a hearing relating to the US Hencing’s eligible policy that allows biological male transking athletes to compete in the women’s category.
The consultation is scheduled for May 7.
The message comes weeks after women’s fence Stephanie Turner was punished for kneeling in protest of a Trans -competitor in a widely published incident.
Turner has been invited to the hearing with Damien Lehfeldt, chairman of the board of USA hencing, to testify.

“Women’s sports are only for women. Radical leftists who push to let biological men compete against women, destroy fair competition and put female athletes in physical danger. Stephanie Turner had the courage to call this insane, and she is a hero for women in all America,” Greene said in the announcement.
“The United States fence must be held responsible for wrestling women and denying them for the chance to succeed in their own sport. It is out of compliance with President Trump’s executive order, and it should not be recognized as the national governing body of fence if it continues to defy the law.”

The incident involving Turner quickly drew national attention after a video of her who took a knee to protest in Sullivan became viral. Recordings ignited widespread awareness and setbacks against the US hencing policy of gender eligibility.

Turner told Pakinomist Digital that she decided to take a knee the night before the event when she checked the competition pools and saw that she would compete against Sullivan.
“I saw that I was going to be in a pool with Redmond, and from there I said, ‘Ok, let’s do it. I’m taking my knee,’ said Turner.” I knew what I was doing because USA fence hadn’t listened to women’s objections about [its gender eligibility policy]”

“The United States fence adopted our current transking and non -binary athlete policy in 2023. The policy was designed to expand access to fence sports and create inclusive, secure space. The policy is based on the principle that everyone should have the ability to participate in sports and was based on the available research,” the statement states.
A spokesman for a US fence also told Pakinomist Digital Turner was not punished for her attitude against trans -cluttering. She was punished for refusing to compete.
“In the case of Stephanie Turner, her disqualification was not related to any personal statement, but was merely the direct result of her decision to refuse to fence a qualified opponent that the FIE rules clearly ban,” the spokesman said.
