Noble’s new ‘device’ lets developers build stablecoin tools on Celestia

Noble, a blockchain for issuing assets in the real world (RWA) and stablecoins, announced on Wednesday that it will expand its platform by introducing “Applayer”, an Ethereum-compatible Rollup that allows developers to create their own RWA applications and infrastructure.

Nobles application aims to allow developers to build new financial tools optimized for assets in the real world as stablecoins-digital assets whose value is linked to another asset, like the US dollar.

Applayer will take advantage of Celestia, a data availability blockchain aimed at reducing storage costs for data-intensive blockchain networks. Celestia is like noble connected to the Cosmos blockchain ecosystem and is compatible with Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), which means it can read smart contracts from other Ethereum-based chains.

The Noble team said in a press release seen by Coindesk that it will launch its Ethereum-Compatible Application Rollup in the third quarter of 2025.

“Noble plans to unlock his cross-cosystem empire as EVM applications continue to seek reliable and trouble-free access to native stablecoin liquidity,” the team wrote. “Nobles Applayer will be seamlessly integrated with a number of Blue Chip Defi projects born in the Ethereum -Cosystem.”

StableCecoins have received considerable attention in recent weeks, with the US Congress preparing significant stablecoin laws later this year. Units, including President Trump’s World Liberity Economic, Bank Giant faith and US state of Wyoming have also expressed plans to create their own stablecoins.

NOBLE launched in March 2023 as an application-specific blockchain or “Appchain”, custom built for stableecoin issuing within the cosmos ecosystem. Originally, it was intended to extend the liquidity cosmos by enabling the issuance of built-in asset through the Inter-blockchain Communication (IBC) protocol, which is the technology used by Cosmos-based blockchains for transfer assets and other data.

Over time, Noble has expanded its reach beyond the Cosmos and integrated with Ethereum and other ecosystems to facilitate quick stablecoin transfers. In addition, NOBLE in March introduced USDN, a dividend stablecoin supported by US Finance Ministry.

“Building stableecoin issuing infrastructure in the last two years has given us a deep appreciation of the transformative potential for stablecoins on board the world for crypto,” Jelena Djuric, co-founder and CEO of Noble, said in the press release. “The noble Applic, built with Celestia’s technology below, finally gives builders the freedom to build very scalable and performing stableecoin-native applications.”
