- Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7 launches on April 23, 2025
- It adds a new history chapter plus two new S-Rank agents to play

Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7, or ‘Bury Your Tears with the past’, will be launched next week on April 23, bringing a wealth of new content to the popular Urban Fantasy game.
Forward, the Update introduces a new history chapter that ends the arch from the game’s first season. It will see players discover the truth behind the victim crisis, learn more about the enigmatic Hugo and collaborate with a special investigator to venture into the cave.

Two new playable S-Rank characters are added, both members of the Mockingbird Faction. Vivian, an etheranomaly agent, is armed with both a parasol and a rapier that can be used to seamlessly switch between earth and air strikes. Hugo, an ice cream attacker, carries a suitcase that can be transformed into a deadly scythe cutting through enemies. He has the special ability to trigger the total effect when he hits stunned enemies, which inflict additional damage based on the remaining duration of the stun effect.
In addition, two new Bangboo carpenters are also on the way. There is S-Rank Robin, a mockingbird member capable of throwing randomized cards with a wide range of effects, and my personal favorite A-rank overtime booth. A tired office worker, Overtimeboo brings a whole desk and PC setup to the battlefield, where he writes away happily until a computer accident sends them to an appropriate dangerous rage.
As a person who has lost hours of important work to PC problems in the past, I can definitely relate and will try to add this upcoming arrival to my team as soon as possible.
No update would be complete without a number of new events in the game, and this time around the most significant is ‘Say It With Flowers’. This sees the players embrace the role of a flower shop manager and create unique flower arrangements. By implementing design commissions, you will be able to lock lots of rewards and permanently interactive flower arrangement gameplay for quality time mode.
The Fall guys Inspired Bangboo Bash also returns with a ranked state that offers exclusive event titles and lots of polychromes for those who are eager to climb the ranks.
If you want to try Zenless Zone Zero Prior to the update, the game is now available as a free-to-play title on PC, mobile and PlayStation 5.
