Security forces removed five terrorists belonging to a prohibited organization during an intelligence-based operation in Balochistan’s Duki district, confirmed terrorism officials on Saturday.
The Department of Moderrorism (CTD) conducted the operation in the Dabbar Mountain region after receiving credible intelligence about the presence of the terrorist.
The operation resulted in an intense firefighter who left all five terrorists died.
The bodies of the terrorists were moved to hospitals for medico-legal formalities.
Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti paid tribute to the successful operation performed by CTD, FC and other security forces, and said, “Our brave forces have again demonstrated their decision against the terrorist threat.”
He repeated the government’s zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism and its facilitators.
Bugti warned that “terrorist sympathizers and facilitators will face the full force of the law” while confirming the administration’s obligation to protect civilian life and maintain regional stability.
