Atlanta Braves -Star Outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr. hinted at a double standard within the clubhouse after a particular accident of a teammate led to no reprimand from manager Brian Snitker.
Fellow Outfielder Jarred Kelenic was seen jogging to the first base after a hard hit ball, which he thought would be a home drive. However, the ball hit the wall instead of going over it, and Kelenic Panic by trying to sprint to the second base for a double instead of staying first.
It was a poorly advised decision when he was thrown out of a Minnesota Twins player on the second base at Replay Review.

Now Kelenic’s Basepaths failure was not breached in beating the twins on Saturday 4-3.
But his decision to throw out of the dough’s box when he got in touch with the ball is what many called on via social media. If he hadn’t done that, he’s probably on another base safe instead of going back to dugout.

However, cuts did not have AA problem with Kelenic.
“Shall I?” Snitker said when asked if he was talking to Kelenic about this game after the game.
While cuts did not see a problem, Acuña seemed to think otherwise.

Acuña responded to mlb.com -reporter Mark Bowmans X post about Snitker’s commentary on Kelenic and was clearly crossed off.
“If it was me, they would take me out of the game,” Acuña said in her post, which has since been deleted.
Acuña has history with what is happening.
In 2019, cuts him for accidents on the bases when he did the same as Kelenic. However, Acuña decided to stay at the first base after he realized that the ball was not going out as he had hoped.

“He didn’t run,” said Snitker at the time via ESPN. “You have to run. It won’t be acceptable here.”
So it is understandable why Acuña would be upset over Snitker’s treatment of Kelenic.
