Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Monday signed a number of agreements Memorandum (Mous), which aimed to improve bilateral cooperation in key sectors, including culture, trade and consular affairs.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and UAE -Vice Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan signed to Mous: One to promote cooperation between the Ministry of UAE and Pakistan’s cultural department and the other for the establishment of a joint committee on consular affairs.
In addition, both leaders witnessed the exchange of a mou between the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI).
The agreement establishes UAE-Pakistan Joint Business Council, aiming to improve trade and investment relationships.
The Mou exchange was carried out by UAE -Assisting Minister for Economic and Trade Affairs Saeed Mubarak Al Hjjeri and FPCCI President Atif Ikram Sheikh.
During the meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Prime Minister Dar Dar greeted his UAE opposition and described the relationship between the two countries as long -time and rooted in mutual respect and shared goals. He noted that both nations work together on their people’s welfare and prosperity.
The UAE site expressed the appreciation of the warm hospitality that was expanded during his visit, calling Pakistan a country that has a special place in the heart of the UAE management and people.
Sheikh Abdullah arrived in Pakistan on Sunday night for a two-day official visit according to the Foreign Office. He is also expected to meet Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif during his stay.
