Long Islanders has asked for President Donald Trump’s help and it seems they get it.
Massapegua High School’s nickname is Chiefs, but the New York Act says schools must remove logos related to original people by the end of the year.
Massapequa School District defendant the state, but a federal judge issued against the district.

Well, Trump has caught victory in question and published truth social that the potential name change would be “ridiculous.”
“I agree with the people of Massapequa, Long Island, who are fighting furiously to keep the Massapequa Chiefs logo on their team and school,” Trump wrote. “To force them to change the name, after all these years, is ridiculous and in fact a violation of our large Indian population. The school board and virtually everyone in the area require the name to be held. Linda McMahon, to fight for the population of Massapequa on this very important topic.

Washington fails to adopt suggestions that would limit trans athletes from competing against biological girls
“Changing the name has no good effect on our children. This is their identity, that’s who they are – they are bosses,” Massapequa School Board told Kerry Wachter to the New York Post last week.
Wachter also said the district has issued an SOS to the Department of Education.
Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman appeared on “Fox & Friends” earlier this month and Rev New York Gov. Kathy Hochul.
“She has to have bad thoughts in her head – when I think of a boss, I think of a leader,” Blakeman said. “When I think of a warrior, I think of someone with bravery … We honor and celebrate our Native American heritage here on Long Island.”
The district sued the state in September and said the regent’s board of directors violated its first amendments to the right of amendment by prohibiting schoolmen and officers from carrying “boss” trade while at school property and other events.
The district says that Ommarking would cost the district approx. 1 million dollars and its identity.
