Tennessee Titans has made it clear that their intentions with the total election # 1 of the NFL draft in 2025, at least when it comes to keeping it or not.
There have been speculation that the titans could act out of position to start the draft in Green Bay this Thursday. However, GM Mike Borgonzi said the team will be set.
“We have come to an agreement,” he said. “We choose on # 1 Thursday night.”

The NFL network reported on Tuesday that the titans “never opened the door” to shop for opportunities. Meanwhile, Cleveland Browns, who collectively choose the other, and the New York Giants, who follow them at # 3, make their Due Diligence by taking calls for potential trades.
Since Borgonzi says it is a “consensus” movement to keep the top overall choice, it seems that Front Office is in line with where they want to go. And all characters point to a quarterback.
Miamis Cam Ward has been the choice in virtually all mock drafts of both experts and fans, making sense in view of the team’s current quarterback situation. Will Levis, the team’s second -round election in 2023, has not panned out in the last two seasons, and Tennessee brought free agents Brandon Allen and Tim Boyle to compete this forth season.
However, none of the three are strong starting opportunities for a team that has good offensive weapons in Calvin Ridley, Tony Pollard and more, with head coach Brian Callahan at the forefront. With better quarterback games, the titans could immediately compete in AFC South.

Ward had a huge year of hurricanes last season after transferring from Washington State. The team went 10-3 under his leadership and completed 67.2% of his passport and brought ACC with 39 touchdown passes while throwing only seven interceptions.
Ward’s confidence has been through the tag during the prior tensile process and is constantly repeating his belief that he is the best quarterback in this class. It would be compared to other top opportunities such as Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders and Ole Miss’s Jaxson Dart.

He has even suggested that he goes to the titans and says during a Fortnite live stream that his favorite players at certain positions throughout the league are current Tennessee stars like Pollard and Treylon Burks. He also talked about his top main coach, Callahan first put together and followed it up with the draft order (Browns ‘Kevin Stefanski, Giants’ Brian Daboll and so on).

The titans went 3-14 last season in Callahan’s first year, but they seem to add a difference producer right away with the first choice. Ward seems to be the goal, but the only security is the titans will submit their cards to NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, who will read this name in Green Bay on Thursday night.
