Davante Adams was one of the first people to know that Aaron Rodgers and eventually did not even return to the New York Jets.
Shortly after the Super Bowl, Jets announced that they moved on from Rodgers after a riot two-year period that resulted in the end game on quickly.
Rodgers played only four pieces in a jet uniform before jumping his achilles. And although last year is not entirely his fault, he certainly looked like a 41-year-old quarterback who sometimes came out of a major injury.

Nevertheless, it is a new regime in East Rutherford, and Aaron Glenn and Darren Mougey made the decision to move on from Rodgers.
Rodgers were bitter over the meeting when he told it at “The Pat McAfee Show” last week and he was bitter about it for his right man in Adams.
“We golfed together on a Wednesday in Vegas, on Shadow Creek, and then (Rodgers) told me he would (meet with Jets) Thursday and then come back and we would play again Friday,” Adams recently told Athletic. “And he was just in such a bad mood (after the meeting) that he hit me and was like ‘I’m not coming back, bro.’ He’s like ‘this was terrible – they just respected me completely.’
“I thought he was a little dramatic at first. I’m like ‘bro; paraphrases not. How did he say this?’ (But) That’s how he said it was shocking, but right from that moment, I knew there was no chance I would be back there.

That was exactly what happened when Adams was also released. He found a home pretty quickly when he signed with Los Angeles Rams, who released Cooper Kupp, on a two-year deal.
Rodgers said he felt respected after flying to visit Jets “at my own crown.”
“We sit down in the office and I think we want this long conversation – I have flown across the country – and 20 seconds in he goes – I mean literally, I talk to GM about something, and [Glenn] Leaning to the end of his seat and going ‘so will you play football?’ “
Rodgers replied that he did it, but was quickly greeted by Glenn’s news.
“We’re going in a different direction at Quarterback.”
“I wasn’t sorry I was surprised,” Rodgers added. “I felt there wasn’t an abundant amount of respect at this meeting. I assume I shouldn’t have been surprised on the basis of some of the things I saw in those two years.”

Rodgers’ probable destination seems to be Pittsburgh Steelers, which is without a solid quarterback just two days before the draft and any other domino has fallen. However, Rodgers is still a free agent.
