- Apple has removed “Available Now” from its Apple Intelligence — Webside
- The change comes after BBB’s National Advertising Division recommended that it clarified or removes accessibility information
- The problem is around the language when Apple Intelligence is launched and the wait of upcoming
Apple has long said there is a long way ahead of Apple Intelligence, but it has been more of a long-lasting way since Apple’s AI was only announced on WWDC 2024. Earlier in 2025, the promised AI-driven SIRI features were pushed back to the ‘coming year’, which is pretty guard.
Now Apple has made a change to its Apple Intelligence -Destination page and lost the ‘available now’ tagline from under ‘AI for the rest of us.’ Surprisingly, it does not appear that the Cupertino-based tech giant has not made the decision to remove the message itself, but was instead asked by Better Business Bureau’s National Programs’ National Advertising Division (NAD).
In a shared release, NAD “recommends that Apple Inc. changes or disconnects advertising requirements regarding the availability of certain features associated with the launch of its AI-driven Apple Intelligence tool in the US”, which appears that launch features including the new Siri still not available were not ready enough.
NAD states that the Apple Intelligence Landing pages made it work as Apple Intelligence features, including priority messages, photo playground, image wand and chatgpt -integration as well as genmoji, “were available at the launch of iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro.”
However, Apple Intelligence did not begin its launch until iOS 18.2, which was released after the new iPhones. Nad’s argument states that the information presented as “footnotes” or “small print revelations” was not clear enough.
BBB’s NAD also had similar thoughts about Apple showing the upcoming SIRI features, such as on -screen consciousness and personal content, on the same page as the “available now” heading.
NAD even connected with Apple who informed them that “Siri features would not be available on the original timeline” and that the corresponding language was updated. This obviously happened around the same time when Apple drew one of its ads with the brand new Siri.
Apple says in the release “While we disagree with NAD’s findings related to features available to users now, we value the opportunity to work with them and will follow their recommendations.” And it is clear that the recommendations were taken to the heart which “available now” according to Snapshots viewed on the Wayback machine of Techradar was removed on March 29, 2025.
It is good before this release from the National Advertising -Dvision that makes what stops that Apple stops or changes its language, but also after the technology giant confirmed the delay with AI -Infunded Siri from February 7, 2025.
Either way, Apple is getting its ducks in a row and it’s good to be clearer with consumers. Techradar has reached Apple to ask for further comments and we will update this when and if we hear back.
