Stronger room tapes with China searched

Islamabad:

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday said Pakistan was eager to increase collaboration with China in space technology, space atellites, telecommunications and satellite internet.

The premiere made these comments at a meeting with a delegation from the Chinese space technology company Galaxy Space, led by the company’s chairman XU Ming.

When he called China a very trusted friend and a strategic partner, the Prime Minister emphasized that Pakistan attaches great importance to the space technology sector.

The delegation members also expressed a strong interest in investing in Pakistan’s space technology sector and collaboration on joint projects with Pakistani space institutions and private telecommunications companies.

Thank you for Pakistan’s government for hot hospitality, they told the Prime Minister that their meetings with officials from the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunications and Suparco were very useful.

Separately, Tuesday, the Prime Minister expressed satisfaction with the growing track for bilateral ties with Rwanda and said that Pakistan is trying to strengthen mutually advantageous cooperation in various areas, especially trade, investment and people-to-pill exchanges.

The Prime Minister met with Foreign Minister and international cooperation between Rwanda Ambassador Olivier JP Nduhungrehe, who is currently on an official visit to Pakistan.

The premiere welcomed the worthy and conveyed his good wishes to President Paul Kagame and Prime Minister Edouard Ngirente from Rwanda.

He expanded an invitation to President Kagame to make an official visit to Pakistan.

The Prime Minister congratulated Rwanda of opening his resident mission in Islamabad and said it would prove to be instrumental in increasing bilateral trade, especially through improved B2B interaction.

Meanwhile, the prime minister on Tuesday emphasized that Pakistan, along with other countries affected by climate change, requires special financial assistance from international financial institutions to tackle the challenges that climate change is facing.

During a meeting with LUC Triangle, Secretary -General International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC), in the PM house, the Prime Minister noted that Pakistan is among the countries most affected by climate change. “The floods in 2022 alone caused losses of $ 30 billion.”

He pointed out that these climate -related challenges have led to significant employment problems and losses for workers and workers in Pakistan.
