Islamabad:
The Federal Government has decided to invite fresh expressions of interest (EOIS) on April 24 to the privatization of Pakistan International Airlines (Pia), which provides a window of at least one month to both domestic and international investors.
According to the Privatization Commission, the pre -qualification criteria have been made stricter to ensure that only serious and credible investors participate in the process.
The plan involves the sale of 10% to 51% of the PIA shares, where officials assure that employees’ rights and the current service structure will be protected throughout the transition.
