Shannon Sharpe has been in a very published civil battle after he was accused of sexual assault this week.
The football hall in Famer turned the national TV star being accused of assault, sexual assault, battery and sexual battery. He was also accused of having engaged “in the intentional application of emotional distress”, with his charges sought $ 50 million in compensation.
The situation has already become extremely ugly, with Sharpe, calling the allegations a “shaking” while he and his legal team released sexually explicit messages that the woman had allegedly sent him over time. The woman is represented by Tony Buzbee, who represented two dozen of the women who accused Deshaun Watson of sexual assault – all except one of these cases came to a solution.
Buzbee also represented the woman who accused Jay-Z and Diddy of assaults when she was just 13 years of prosecution, and Jay-Z now sues the woman and Buzbee.

Sharpe is now a guest host on ESPN’s “First Take”, and the carrier beam in Stephen A. Smith broke the silence of the “sad situation” that his “friend” is now in.
“We’ve grown closely like friends. I definitely mess with him. I know he’s been through a lot in life, he’s overcome a lot of things, and when he traveled from Fox, I was more than happy to bring him on board here. So all I can talk to is what I know was based on the reports and I can talk about sharp.
Smith said he also spoke to Sharpe, who “emphatically declare his innocence.” Smith is “hopeful and prayer that he is completely innocent,” but stopped saying it himself and also criticized Sharp’s answers to the claims.
“On the one hand that goes on the offensive to defend, I fully understand where Shannon Sharpe comes from. On the other, when his legal team released the press release on X yesterday, they mentioned her name and revealed some of these explicit text messages, it was uncomfortable and I don’t know if it’s a strategy that would work,” Smith said. “One of the hardest things in the world for all of us is just to lie down and be quiet and let our legal team do it. And we don’t always know if that’s the right thing to do.

Smith added that he does not know what the end result will be with regard to Sharp’s employment at ESPN or about “First Take,” but Smith said after talking to ESPN President Jimmy Pitaro, Pitaro “made it very very clear that we take this case very seriously and we look at this very, very close.

The complaint accused Sharpe of “manipulating and controlling the plaintiff” and making threats of violence against her.
