Shannon Sharpe has been in a very published civil battle after he was accused of sexual assault this week.

The football hall in Famer turned the national TV star being accused of assault, sexual assault, battery and sexual battery. He was also accused of having engaged “in the intentional application of emotional distress”, with his charges sought $ 50 million in compensation.

The situation has already become extremely ugly, with Sharpe, calling the allegations a “shaking” while he and his legal team released sexually explicit messages that the woman had allegedly sent him over time. The woman is represented by Tony Buzbee, who represented two dozen of the women who accused Deshaun Watson of sexual assault – all except one of these cases came to a solution.

Buzbee also represented the woman who accused Jay-Z and Diddy of assaults when she was just 13 years of prosecution, and Jay-Z now sues the woman and Buzbee.

Sharpe is now a guest host on ESPN’s “First Take”, and the carrier beam in Stephen A. Smith broke the silence of the “sad situation” that his “friend” is now in.

“We’ve grown closely like friends. I definitely mess with him. I know he’s been through a lot in life, he’s overcome a lot of things, and when he traveled from Fox, I was more than happy to bring him on board here. So all I can talk to is what I know was based on the reports and I can talk about sharp.

Smith said he also spoke to Sharpe, who “emphatically declare his innocence.” Smith is “hopeful and prayer that he is completely innocent,” but stopped saying it himself and also criticized Sharp’s answers to the claims.

“On the one hand that goes on the offensive to defend, I fully understand where Shannon Sharpe comes from. On the other, when his legal team released the press release on X yesterday, they mentioned her name and revealed some of these explicit text messages, it was uncomfortable and I don’t know if it’s a strategy that would work,” Smith said. “One of the hardest things in the world for all of us is just to lie down and be quiet and let our legal team do it. And we don’t always know if that’s the right thing to do.

“I know, and I can tell you everything I talked to Shannon, not in detail, but I spoke to him, and he emphatically declines his innocence. According to Mr. Buzbee, his client emphatically declares his fault. So where does it leave us? I would very much like to tell you that I know the answer to that question but I do not.

Smith added that he does not know what the end result will be with regard to Sharp’s employment at ESPN or about “First Take,” but Smith said after talking to ESPN President Jimmy Pitaro, Pitaro “made it very very clear that we take this case very seriously and we look at this very, very close.

“In My Perfect World, This Equates to Jay-Z Where The Case Ultimately Dropped, and Shannon Is Allowed to Continue On” First Take “and Thrive and Shine and have an illustrous career in the podcast stratosphere… in my perfect world, he Moves on. And somehow, someway, we find allway, we find allway allway, we find allway allway to be false.

“I hope all this is a sad trial that disappears because there was no truth in it but I don’t know. Neither do you nor the rest of us. Only time will show what the truth is.”

Sharpe’s lawyer, Lanny J. Davis, said that the release of the explicit messages between the applicant and Sharpe “clearly indicates that the nature of their relationship was consensus and sexual nature in many cases initiated by her with specific and graphic requests.”

The complaint accused Sharpe of “manipulating and controlling the plaintiff” and making threats of violence against her.

“A woman can say ‘yes’ to consensus sexual relationship with a man nitti-ni times, but when she says ‘no’ once once, it means ‘no’ means no,” the complaint reads via profootball talk reporting. “Defendant Shannon Sharpe, a man who is used to getting what he wants, fails to completely understand this basic concept. After many months of manipulating and controlling the plaintiff – a woman more than thirty years younger than he – and repeatedly threatens to brutally strangle and violently throw her, Sharpe refused to accept the answer no, and rape the plaintiff, despite her threat and repeated screams of” ‘

Sharpe said that Buzbee, “targeted at black men,” will also “release a 30-second clip of a sex band trying to make me look guilty and play into any stereotype you might imagine.” Buzbee confirmed that “an incredibly damn video actually exists” that “talking[s] Quantities about Mr. Sharpe and his behavior. “

Sharpes Attorneys admitted that the former tight end previously offered the woman a settlement of about $ 10 million, but she rejected.
