Jeremy Renner had an almost fatal accident in January 2023 when he was hit by a 14,000 -pound snowcat plow and suffered several serious injuries. Renner was wounded and tried to save his nephew Alex, 27 at that time, from being hit by the plow.
In a new interview, he revealed how his nephew has managed the trauma by watching Marvel Star wounded.
“[Alex] Read the book. In fact, we listened to the book together which was pretty intense, but we never really tried to push this under anything, ”Renner explained to People.
“If I get better, he gets better. I put pictures in that kid’s head, he can’t look, so I want to do something I can to get better. So I heal him, he heals me. It’s a beautiful thing,” he added.
When he shares how he is approaching the incident now, he said, “I am not talking about it. It is part of my life every day and it is always a wonderful reminder of the strength of the human spirit and how fragile the body is and how badass it is by improvement.”
“I’m not haunted by the incident – not too often anyway – of the pictures, the sounds,” the Hawkeye Said actor. “But I am reminded of my new reality and it is wonderfully positive. I did not die.”
