Arizona Wildcat’s wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan will soften it all Thursday night in Green Bay.

He will see a dream realized: to enter the NFL.

McMillan is arguably the top view of his position in this 2025 NFL Draft class, and he hopes to have an immediate influence on the one who takes him.

“I’m not nervous. I’m just excited,” McMillan told Pakinomist Digital while participating in a preliminary “shift” by raising Cane’s in Green Bay one day before the festivities start outside Lambeau Field.

“Super grateful for this moment and I am ready to hear my name called, embrace my family, embrace all this moment and take it all in.”

While McMillan is very likely to hear his name called the draft first day he goes is another story. He has been linked to several teams, including Dallas Cowboys, who could use another young recipient next to the perennial Pro Bowler Ceedee Lamb.

“Obviously, Jerry’s World is different,” McMillan said of his official visit to Dallas during the pre-traf process. “It was nothing but love in there, so they treated me really well and I really felt taken care of out there.”

But again, there is no guarantee that McMillan will wear a star on his helmet in 2025.

No matter who decides to call his name, he already knows what that team gets from him now and into the future.

“I just want to say a larger recipient who is versatile from the inside out that can run each route on a route tree,” he explained. “Then bring someone who brings good energy to the dressing room and can adapt to any kind of culture and ultimately be the guy that people play for.”

McMillan is also convinced that his behavior, one of the aggression to grab the ball, no matter where it is located near him in the field, will transfer nicely to the pros.

“I feel that I have come to this point for a reason,” he said. “I have to be sure of myself and be sure of the team that chooses me. Go out there and perform, and keep doing what I do.”

During his three years in Arizona, McMillan reached 3,423 receiving yards, including a 1,319-yard-yaro in 2024 to earn a consensus all-American nod. He also made up 26 touchdowns over 37 career games.
