Carter was this year’s Big Ten Defensive Player, a Bednarik Award finalist and a first team of All-American after leading the nation in tackles for losses by 23.5 this season. He got 12 sacks over 16 games with 68 tackles and four passports defended.
Athletics, explosive from the line with review and ability to be in the right place at the right time to get quarterback to the ground is something that Giants could certainly benefit from 2025 and above.

However, there is a question about Carter’s health after suffering a stress reaction in the foot. But he had a positive medical update recently when a study showed that it is healing and he does not require surgery.
Carter will join forces with two of the league’s top defenders, Edge Rusher Brian Burns and defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence.
Kayvon Thibodeaux, which Giants took in the first round of 2022, is also part of this stacked defensive line.
Carter is also a native from Philadelphia who grew up with a Die-Hard Eagles fan. However, it now ends when they are his NFC East Rival, a team that comes out of a Super Bowl -Se win over Kansas City Chiefs, which Giants will see twice a year.

Giants may not be done in the first round either. Trade rumors have swirled around GM Joe Schoen and his Front Office as they could still use a quarterback of the future despite signing veterans Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston in free agency.
