The third round closed Friday night, with five quarterbacks being taken while Sanders and his family remain uncertain about where and when his pro -career begins.

After Cam Ward was elected with the first total election on Thursday night, experts assumed that Sanders would soon follow when the second quarterback chose. Instead, Jaxson Dart was the second quarterback taken when New York Giants traded back to the first round to take him at 25.
Early in the second round, New Orleans Saints used the 40th choice to take Tyler Plow. Then, late in the third round, Seattle took Seahawks Jalen Milroe at 92, and then Cleveland took Brown’s Dillon Gabriel at 94.
Darts, Plow, Milroe and Gabriel were all expected to go much later than Sanders by scouts and analysts, and early projections even had Sanders to cross Ward at No. 1.
Sanders led the BIG 12 conference with 4,134 passing yards and 37 touchdown passes and was named the big 12 offensive player of the year. In his 50 college games, Sanders threw 14,347 yards, 134 touchdowns and 27 interceptions.

For a quarterback view that this respect falls out of the third round is very unusual in the NFL.
Top prospects like Sanders have seen shocking slides in previous NFL drafts. Aaron Rodgers slid down to the 25th gathering election in the NFL draft in 2005 and was passed on to Alex Smith of the 49s.
Patrick Mahomes was not taken until the 10th election in 2017 draft and was passed on to Mitch Trubisky by Bears. At that time, Mahomes were still less of a hyped view than Sanders.
Lamar Jackson fell all the way to the 32nd election in 2018 draft after four other quarterbacks were taken in front of him.
But Sanders, once considered the top candidate to go # 1 overall this year falling to day three of the draft, is a historic anamoli.
To make things worse for him and his family, Sanders Prank was called by an imposter during a livestream Friday night.
While he and his family live-streamed day two of their NFL drafts of pitch-friday evening, Sanders was Set, who responded to a phone call, which he assumed was from a general manager who made the decision to prepare him.
Then the one who calls the eager young athlete told him that he would “have to wait a little longer” when Sanders’ smile quickly faded.
The NFL Teams’ decision not to prepare Sanders has led to mass controvers and debate throughout the draft, and even before that rumors of Sanders fell down, draft boards became public.
An anonymous NFL coach recently told NFL network Sanders was “the worst formal interview I’ve ever been II my life.”
“He is so justified. He takes unnecessary sacks. He never plays on time. He has terrible body language. He accuses teammates,” the coach continued. “But the biggest thing is that he is not so good.”
Another long -time AFC director repeated that mood and told the sales, “It did not go well in our interview. He will dictate what he will do and what is best for him. He makes you feel small.”
Kansas City Chiefs -Super Star Patrick Mahomes apparently referred to Sanders’ draft slide in an X post later on Friday and just wrote “crazy.”
President Donald Trump even joined the debate on Friday when he tore “stupid” NFL owners to pass on Star Colorado -Quarterback and let him fall into the second round.
“What’s wrong with NFL owners, are the stupid? Deion Sanders was a great college football player and was even bigger in the NFL. Truth Social Post.
“He should be” picked “immediately by a team that will win. Good luck in shooting watch and say hello to your wonderful father!”
Now Sanders will have to wait until day three of the draft to hear his name is called if it is called at all.
However, he has apparently expressed gratitude and patience throughout the process despite the dramatic slide.
In an X -post late Friday night, while the third round was about to end, Sanders thanked.
“Thank you God for everything,” he wrote.
