Shedeur Sanders went from being a top-five overall choice to not even a top-five quarterback.
Cam Ward, Jaxson Dart, Tyler Shough, Jalen Milroe and Dillon Gabriel were all elected in front of Sanders during the first three rounds of the NFL draft.
It’s an unprecedented, fantastic fall for Sanders, which some mockery even had # 1 earlier this season.

After dropping out of the first round, Sanders admitted that he “didn’t expect” fall. He even became the guilty of a prank call that told him he had to “wait a little longer.”
But late in the third round, Sanders X took to maintain some confidence.
“Thank you God for everything,” he wrote.
Sanders had plenty of options to be chosen, but with three quarterbacks taken over him at night two he is clearly not on many teams’ radars.

Shough went 40. Collected to New Orleans Saints. Then came the third round where Milroe went 92 to Seattle Seahawks, and Cleveland Browns, which had several chances at Sanders, made Dillon Gabriel three elections later.
Earlier this week, reports began to avert Sanders, with a coach who said his formal encounter with Quarterback was “the worst”, adding that he is “justified” and “not so good.”
Maybe more teams are starting to feel like that.
Saturday contains rounds four to seven, with over 150 elections left. Tennessee Titans, which no longer needs a quarterback, starts the fourth round at noon.

Raiders have the sixth choice of fourth round, but at this point it is anyone’s guess where Sanders will land.
