Chappell Roan just credited a song that helped her channel feelings of a breakdown.
She admitted that her breakup -sang, My kink is karma, Stopped her from coming over anger an end to a relationship created.
In her latest track, The giverChappell can be heard singing as a bitter person who finds joy in their ex misfortune.
“You have to lock into different figures for each song. Especially like My kink is karma, I’m less worried about beating the notes instead of just screaming as hard as I can, ”she said at Las Culturistas Podcast.
Chappell continued, “I still feel P ** SED. I don’t know if I will ever get over it. I don’t know if I ever won’t be mad.”
Co-host, Bowen Yang, then asked her if it was because of the song that she was “locked in this feeling.”
“Yes, and that’s what is so hard to write about exes because you’re locked in, especially if you hate them,” replied Chappell Roan before you concluded, and said, “I get angry every time I sing it. It’s real! It’s very real.”
