Security forces have averted a large infiltration attempt from a large group of terrorists along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in North Waziristan and killed 54 militants in a decisive commitment, Military Media Wing said in a statement on Sunday.
As per Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the movement of a group of Khwarij was discovered during the nights 25/26 and 26/27 April in the general area of Hassan Khel. The terrorists tried to infiltrate to Pakistani territory.
“Own troops engaged effectively and prevented their attempts to infiltrate. As a result of precisely and skilled commitment, all 50 four khawarij have been sent to hell,” the military said in a statement.
A large cache of weapons, ammunition and explosives were recovered from the killed militants, added it.
“This is the highest number of Khwarij ever killed by our security forces in a single commitment throughout the campaign against terrorism,” ISPR said.
Intelligence reports revealed that the terrorists acted “because of their ‘foreign masters’ to carry out high -profile terrorist activities in Pakistan.” The statement noted that such actions, “at a time when India smooths baseless accusations against Pakistan, clearly entails if signals FAK operates.”
“Such actions constitute betrayal and betrayal of the state and its citizens,” it added.
The military referred to the recent National Security Committee (NSC) meeting, which highlighted that “distracting Pakistan’s security forces from their focus on the war on terror seems to be the strategic intention of India to give a breathing space to FAK that rolls from the attack of our armed forces’ decision offense against them.”
ISPR praised the troops’ ‘Extraordinary professionalism, vigilance and readiness’ by preventing what it called a “potential disaster. “
The armed forces repeated their decision to protect the nation.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Sharif security forces for their successful surgery and described it as a strong testimony to Pakistan’s progress in the war against terrorism.
In an official statement, the prime minister praised the troops for their “remarkable professionalism and timely action” that highlights their success in rejecting an infiltration attempt from Fitna Al Khwarij Terrorists from all over the Afghan border in the Hassan Khel area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
“The whole nation stands firm with our security forces in the fight against terrorism,” he said, confirming that Pakistan’s armed forces remain “decisively defending the country’s borders and eradicating the scourge of terrorism.”
“These successful operations clearly show that Pakistan wins the war on terrorism and ensures significant victories against those seeking to destabilize the nation,” the prime minister added.
