Marco Santori, the former head of legal officer in Kraken, has joined Pantera Capital as a general partner in the investment team.
Santori, who stepped down from Kraken in January 2025, will focus on expanding Pantera’s crypto portfolio while serving as a resource for portfolio companies on regulatory compliance and strategic growth, according to a blog post.
He will also continue his role in working with decision -makers to advocate for clear, innovation -friendly rules in the United States and globally, Pantera said.
The progress of clear crypto rules in the United States makes it a focus area for companies that manage themselves.
Sartori, who testified before the US Congress on the subject of crypto regulation, is recognized to develop “juice” (simple agreement on future tokens) frames, a cornerstone of the sale of compatible token.
“I join Panttera in a central moment of crypto on the world stage. After over a decade of work, the governments have finally embraced the benefits of blockchain technology,” Sartori said in a statement. “The timing couldn’t be better, and Pantera couldn’t be better positioned to take advantage of it.”
