CJ Gardner-Johnson’s second stint with Philadelphia Eagles turned out to be a successful.

Although Eagles traded Gardner-Johnson for Houston Texans, security served a super bowl Lix championship ring because of his efforts last season.

Gardner-Johnson recorded 14 total tackles the previous postal season. Philadelphia dominated Kansas City Chiefs in February’s Super Bowl, who gave Gardner-Johnson an invitation to Washington on Monday. The 27-year-old eventually rejected the invitation.

During a social media livestream on Tuesday, Gardner-Johnson explained why he did not attend the championship celebration in the White House with his former teammates.

“This was the reason why I didn’t go to the White House I got fat,” Gardner-Johnson said during live stream when he ate what seemed to be a Granola bar. “If any of them ask, I got bold on the crib.”

The defensive back then quoted his apparent discomfort with the clothes he would have worn for the festive event considering his physical appearance.

“This is the real reason,” Gardner-Johnson said. “I wouldn’t go to the White House because I didn’t want to go on the tight (expressive) suit …

“To be there up in the tight suit that [imitates wearing a suit]Naw Naw. I couldn’t do it, bro. “

Gardner-Johnson was one of several notable past or present Eagles stars who chose to perform Monday. The trip was not mandatory for players.

Darius Slay, who spent last season running with Gardner-Johnson in Eagles secondary, jumped over the visit, NBC Sports Philadelphia reported. Slay signed one year’s agreement with Pittsburgh Steelers in March.

Eagles Quarterback Jalen hurts, and broad recipients AJ Brown and Devonta Smith didn’t make the trip to the White House either.

Hurts, the reigning Super Bowl MVP, explained his absence by saying he had a “planning conflict.”

Meanwhile, Eagles ran Saquon Barkley back to Washington. He triggered a host of reactions after golfing with the president of the Trump National Golf Club Bedminster in New Jersey. He was also seen boarding Marine One for his trip back to Washington.

Barkley later brought to social media to tackle the attention his actions drew. “Now you have to get out of my mentions with all this policy and have a fantastic day,” he wrote.
