ESPN -TV companies Stephen A. Smith and Chris Russo Teed off at Bill Belichick on Wednesday over the failure of his awkward interviews and complaints about media not doing enough to focus on the book he is trying to promote.

Belichick’s interview about “CBS NEWS SUNDAY MORNING” has been the lecture on the sports world since it was sent on Sunday – especially Jordon Hudson, who chimed in to close a question of how the two met. Hudson then released a April 10 -e -Mail, allegedly showing Belichick’s complaints about another story to be published.

Smith and Russo each took their thoughts on how Belichick has handled the book tour.

“We certainly won’t see anyone with you tell people that we’re not answering these questions either,” Smith said of Hudson about “First Take.” “You are a grown man, and when someone asks you a question, you won’t answer it not to answer it.

“You spent 20 years not answering questions that you didn’t want to answer. We don’t need anyone else who tells us you don’t answer anything.”

Russo questioned that Belichick would promote himself as someone who moved up the NFL rows with a business thinking. He suggested that this is not what he or NFL fans will hear from him or read about him.

“No one is interested in how you figured out the formula and came up the NFL business ladder,” Russo said. “The only thing in the NFL Corporate Ladder who saved you was (empty) brady. Because without Brady you got a playoff -s victory and you wouldn’t write any books.

“Besides, I want to know about Malcolm Butler and why he didn’t play in a game against Philadelphia in the Super Bowl, where you gave up a million points. I want to know about Spygate. What happened? Why would you do this? The team lost a first round of pickup and the whole team was fined at $ 1 million. I want to know that deflategate.

Russo added that Belichick was tight with the media for most of his career, so it would be wrong for him to lead journalists about what they should be able to talk about with him.

“Now suddenly he needs the media to sell a book, and he wants to tell the media, like me, book interviewers, what to ask him and what to focus on on a dopy book,” Russo said. “Want to read 269 pages of Bill Belichick? No thanks. It’s a shame. You have to write a book, do the interviews, and if they want to ask you about Malcolm Butler for 20 minutes, handle it!”

Belichick and CBS released dueling statements about the interview from Sunday. The North Carolina coach accused the network of creating a “false tale” while redirecting an agreement to ask only questions about the book. CBS denied these claims.
