We have lots of good new movies coming up this year and after watching trailers to Arms and Fear Street: Prom QueenI have the right list to look forward to.
First up, Barbarian‘s director – Zach Cregger – brings us Armswhich everyone is talking about because of the crazy trailer and viral marketing web site MayBook Missing.net that contains a funny reference to Barbarian.
We also have the very expected Fear Street: Prom QueenSubsequently from Netflix’s excellent horror series of movies based on the books by RL Stine, which also saw its trailer fall today.
I wasn’t sure something could top Techradar’s best horror film from 2024, but it seems we really spoiled this year as well. Let’s take a closer look at these big trailers.

Julia Garner is in her horror era recently and follows from her great performance in Leigh Whannells Wolf Man. IN ArmsShe plays a school teacher if the whole class disappears at exactly the same time.
In the trailer you can see CCTV recordings showing the school kids, worse.
Arms Having quickly shot to the top of my horror must-watches this year because all teasers so far have joined me. The trailer gives us flash of troubling images without destroying the plot, I need to know what is going on.
Arms is scheduled to be released on August 8, 2025, before eventually streaming at Warner Bros. Discovery’s streaming service Max and hopefully one of the best max movies will be.

You can thank Carrie to make prom night completely disturbing. But before Mike Flanagan’s TV adaptation of Stephen King’s novel releases on Prime Video brings Netflix OS Fear Street: Prom Queen.
Much like ArmsThis movie is centered around a school and also has the potential to become one of the best Netflix movies. Like Fear Street Trilogy of movies that are again problems on Shadyside High (and with a name like that, why wouldn’t there be? Shady actually).
As Prom approaches, all the coolest girls are fighting for the crown, but they will soon start fighting for their lives instead when all candidates begin to disappear. Someone out there hope it will be a murderer prom from all the wrong Causes.
Fear Street: Prom Queen will be available for stream on Netflix on May 23
