  • Bilawal promises to punish attackers if India presents evidence.
  • “We have to confront Modi to save Sindhu,” says PPP manager.
  • Indian accusations just say an excuse to target the Indus River.

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) President Bilawal Bhutto-Zze has thrown Gauntlet down to India over his claims in connection with the Pahagam attack and called on the modified government to present evidence that supports his claims against Pakistan.

“We [Pakistan] is not involved in this. If you have proof, present it. Tell the people of Mirpur Khas who these terrorists are. We will catch them and hang them in public in a land in Mirpur Khas, “said the PPP chef while talking about a public collection in Sindh’s Mirpur Khas District on Thursday.

Bilawal, who served as Foreign Minister in the previous PDM-led government, said the Indian accusations of terrorism were just an apology while its real target was the Indus River.

The PPP chief referred to India’s punishing diplomatic measures, including suspension of Indus Waters Treat in response to the Pahagam attack on April 22 in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), leaving 26 tourists died.

The incident triggered tensions between the two nuclear armed nations with New Delhi connecting Islamabad with the attack without giving evidence and taking a flurry of punitive measures to the downgrading of tapes, including suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty, revocation of Visa of Pakistanis and closure of the WAGAH Attari boundary transition among others.

In response, Islamabad ordered the deportation of Indian diplomats and military advisers, canceled Visa for Indian citizens, with the exception of the Sikh pilgrims and closure of the main limit transition on its part.

Pakistan also denied his commitment to the attack and offered to participate in a credible and transparent investigation.

“The [Modi govt] Call Democrats [but] We want to prove that they are extremists, ”said the PPP commander, adding that India is not a peaceful country.

“We have to confront Modi to save Sindhu [Indus River]”Added the PPP boss.
