Pakistani middleweight boxer Shahir Afridi delivered a commanding performance in a high -voltage ranking against India’s Trijot Singh Bawa in Thailand and secured victory via Technical Knockout (TKO) in the fourth round.

Afridi released a merciless barrier of battles from the start and put his Indian opponent on the back foot. At the third round, Singh was visibly shaken and struggled to stay on the feet under the pressure from Afridi’s aggressive combinations.

When the fourth round began, the referee stepped in shortly after noticing Bawa’s inability to defend himself effectively and assign the fight to the Afridi of TKO.

The victory marked a significant milestone in Afridi’s career, which now boasts an impressive professional record of 16 wins from 18 matches, with only one loss and a draw.

The match was part of an international ranking event, and Afridi’s victory has further cemented its reputation in the Middleweight Division.

The 27-year-old, known as Markhor, also serves in the Sindh Police’s rapid response power.

In the women’s segment of the event, Pakistan’s Aalia Somro also came headlines by beating her Thai opponent into the very first round.
